TAREE JUNIOR RUGBY LEAGUE FOOTBALL CLUB KICK $11,403 GOAL

Taree Junior Rugby League Football Club have been successful in securing a $11,403.51 grant under the NSW Local Sport Grant Program for an Essential Field Equipment Update, Member for Myall Lakes, Tanya Thompson announced.

Mrs Thompson visited the Taree Recreation Grounds during training to personally deliver the news to the club members.

“It’s fantastic to see that this funding will ensure that our junior rugby players can participate safely,” said Mrs. Thompson.

“This grant will enable players to excel in their sport and give coaches the resources they need to overcome any barriers to participation.”

The Taree Panthers JRLFC Inc. expressed their gratitude to the Office of Sport and the NSW government for the funding opportunity. “This will help our club and sporting community replace some much needed essential field equipment for the safety of our Rugby League to have improved quality of equipment throughout the footy season.”

‘This is awesome! We really needed some new post pads as the old ones are falling apart, and our gazebo is broken and doesn’t even open anymore, thanks so much,” said Amanda Stewart, Committee Grant Co-ordinator.
