It’s been over a month now since devastating floods swept through the Mid North Coast and Hunter regions, leaving many homes, farms, and businesses damaged or destroyed. Across our community, people are still cleaning up, counting the cost, and trying to find a path forward.
In times like these, we come together and right now, one way you can help is by adding your name to a petition calling for increased disaster recovery support for our region. The petition seeks urgent assistance to help affected families, farmers, primary producers, and small businesses rebuild and recover.
From local dairy and beef farms to oyster producers and small shopfronts, many are still struggling with the long-term impacts of the floods. This petition is about making sure our region receives the support it needs not just to survive, but to thrive again.

Sign for a Safer Intersection
I have launched a petition advocating for a roundabout at the Failford Road and The Lakes Way intersection.
We urgently need improved road safety – this intersection experiences accidents and frequent near misses’ due to drivers navigating oncoming traffic travelling at 80 km/hr and during peak times , traffic is backed up for km’s on the Lakes Way.
I’m calling on the Labor Government to support this recommendation and provide the necessary funding to upgrade this dangerous intersection.
