What to do if you’re concerned about the roads
We drive on them everyday and the condition of our roads is of paramount importance to our safety. If you’ve clicked on this, it’s likely you are concerned about the state of our roads, which has been made worse from continuous heavy rainfall.
The NSW Nationals in government provided MidCoast Council with more than $100m for roads and bridges and it is MidCoast Council’s responsibility to fix our council-run roads.
If you are concerned about a particular road, I suggest you go on to council’s website and submit your concerns via this link: https://www.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/Council/Report-Request
You can also upload photos if you choose to do so. Submitting your concerns online will give you a reference number and if council do not respond in 14 days then please forward the details, including the reference number to my office by emailing: myalllakes@parliament.nsw.gov.au and it will be chased up for you. I understand the importance of our roads and will continue to fight for them to be fixed.
You can see a list of roads which are being worked on now/in the near future here: https://www.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/Roads/Major-road-projects/Capital-works-program
