Member for Myall Lakes Tanya Thompson is encouraging local young people to apply to attend the NSW Youth Summit 2026.
The Summit will be held on Tuesday, 1 December at Liverpool Powerhouse and is open to NSW residents aged 12 to 25.
Mrs Thompson said the event was an opportunity for young people to share their experiences, connect with others and speak about the issues that matter to them.
“Our young people bring ideas, honest perspectives and an understanding of the challenges facing their generation,” Mrs Thompson said.
“I would love to see young people from across the Myall Lakes put their hands up and make sure regional voices are part of these important conversations.
“Whether their passion is mental health, education, employment, transport, the environment or creating stronger communities, this is an opportunity to be heard and help shape the future of our state.
“We have so many bright and passionate young people across our region, and their experiences deserve to be heard.”
Participants will have the chance to connect, learn and contribute their views alongside other young people from across NSW.
