Tanya Thompson, Member for Myall Lakes, has announced that she will be holding two Electorate Tours this year, expanding her reach across the region to ensure more constituents have the opportunity to engage with her directly.
“In response to the fantastic turnout last year and to allow me to cover more areas, I’m holding two Electorate Tours in 2025 – one in April and another in August,” said Mrs Thompson.
“Each tour will include different locations, connecting with even more residents and hearing the concerns that are unique to their communities.”
The first tour will commence on Tuesday, 1st April 2025, and will include visits to new communities Tanya has not previously toured, such as Mondrook, Mount George, Oxley Island, Rainbow Flat and Caffreys Flat.
The Electorate Tours are designed to bring Mrs Thompson directly to the communities of Myall Lakes, making it easier for people to share their thoughts and ideas.
“I know that not everyone can make it to my offices in Tuncurry or Taree, so these tours are about bringing Parliament to the people,” Mrs Thompson said.
All constituents are encouraged to attend, and no appointments are necessary.
“These conversations help shape the future of our region – I encourage everyone to come along and have a chat,” Mrs Thompson concluded.
