Tanya Thompson MP, Member for Myall Lakes, has secured a crucial meeting with Jo Haylen, Minister for Transport, on the 3rd of August in Parliament. The meeting will focus on addressing the severe impact of sand shoaling in Wallis Lake and the unfortunate closure of the slipway due to funding reallocation, which has deeply affected the Myall Lakes community.
“I am determined to advocate vigorously for the necessary funding and resources to resolve these issues promptly. And I look forward to working with all government departments to make sure this happens,” Mrs Thompson said.
