Member for Myall Lakes Tanya Thompson has announced the return of the beloved Myall Lakes Seniors Concert Series for 2025, with performances scheduled in Taree and Forster.
Mrs Thompson said that due to the overwhelming success of previous Seniors Concerts, four concerts will be held on:
Monday, 10 March 2025 at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm at Club Forster
Tuesday, 11 March 2025 at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm at Club Taree
Tickets are now available for pre-order and can be collected starting Monday, 13 January 2025 at:
Club Forster, 19 Strand Street, Forster
Club Taree, 121 Wingham Road, Taree
The concerts, known for delivering world-class entertainment, will feature another fantastic line-up:
Amber Jade: An award-winning instrumentalist in clarinet and saxophone
Greg Hayes: A comedian who captivates audiences with his uncanny impressions of Hollywood icons and Australian personalities.
David Cazalet: An internationally acclaimed Elvis impersonator.
Jenifer Green: A multi-award-winning vocalist and entertainer, who will be the host of this year’s shows.
The Steve Isoardi Trio: Returning by popular demand to provide outstanding musical accompaniment.
“This is an event I look forward to every year, as it’s a way to celebrate and thank our seniors for their contributions to our community,” said Mrs. Thompson.
“I was deeply disappointed that the Minns Labor government made the decision to not fund these concerts, but I couldn’t let a Myall Lakes tradition fall by the wayside. I’ve made sure these incredible shows will continue for our seniors.
“I encourage everyone to reserve their tickets early because these concerts sell out quickly. With such an outstanding line-up, it’s bound to be another unforgettable concert.”
Entry to the concerts is by a gold coin donation, with proceeds supporting two important local volunteer groups: the Mental Health Carers Support Group and Manning Valley CanAssist.
Tickets can be pre-ordered by contacting Tanya Thompson’s office at 6555 4099.
